Miele S7 Jazz S7280 Upright Vacuum Cleaner Melon Yellow

We've had this vacuum for more than a year now, and it gets the job done. It's easy to use despite its somewhat hefty weight and size. The "twist" handle system is a nice feature and works very well, making it easy to maneuver around furniture, etc. The headlight is another nice feature and the cord is plenty long. The negatives are the as follows: One of the LED lights in the band of lights that make up the headlight quit, suction is adequate but no better than other vacuums that cost much less, and the bags, while big, are VERY expensive. One design issue others have commented on is that the cord has to be completely unwound to use the wand.Overall it's a very nice vacuum, and it seems well built and likely to last a good long time. My wife love it and would probably rate it higher than I do, but, given the hefty price of the vacuum and bags, I think there are vacuums out there that offer better value.

Dyson DC25 Animal Ball-Technology Upright Vacuum Cleaner

I've owned just about every top rated vacuum that has been made. I was never satisfied, mostly because they where too heavy to handle, or the animal hair was blown about, rather than sucked up. I do have a canister vacuum that I have had for years, but I wanted a satisfactory upright that was light and easy to handle. I have a cat and a dog, and there is lots of shedding hair, all the time. Our house is mostly hard floors, stairs, and one large rug in the living room. When I saw the DC25 Animal, I decided to spend the money hoping that this vacuum would do the job. It has lived up to my wildest dreams, it is wonderfully easy to handle, so easy to maneuver, the 16 lbs make such a difference compared to those very heavy machines I had before, I had no problem carrying it upstairs. I love that with this vacuum I don't need to select different heights, it goes from floor to carpet to floor. I was even able to clean the dogs bed without the wand attachment. Speaking of the wand/handle attachment you simply flip open the top cap, pull up on the wand, and it disconnects from the vacuum and suction diverts to the wand. It took a little getting use to, the hose is a little stiff and took a while before I was comfortable cleaning the stairs. Most important, THIS VACUUM SUCKS, but in a good way!!Assembly was fairly easy, suppose to be 3 snaps with no tools. But I had a heck of a time getting it out of the box, and being not mechanically inclined I would have liked better instructions.I…

Miele : S7210 Twist Upright Vacuum (Royal Blue)

This is the best vacuum I have ever owned. I have had it now for almost month, and vacuum twice a month. We have a small dog and a mix of hardwood with rugs and newer carpet. The ability to define the pile height and turn the brush on/off is fantastic. The hose is easy to use and the unit has fantastic suction. I do recommend buying a set of bags with it too. We have newer carpet, so I replaced the first bag after only 4 uses. There are little things that make it fantastic - like the handle on the middle back of the unit that makes it easy to move up & down stairs. The twist swivels the head and this makes for easier vacuuming around table legs and other immovable items. Rugs have never looked better because of its power, and its easy to move between them and the floor b/c of the ability to turn off the brush. The attachments for the wand are easily store on the back of the unit. The suction power is fantastic. I ultimately chose this unit b/c I had read of the Dyson's breaking often and Consumer Reports had zero negative comments on this unit. It is heavy, however because that weight is in the base, you do not feel it while operating. It is also a quiet power, and it is very powerful.

Miele S7580BOLERO Bolero Upright Vacuum Cleaner

This is a great, versatile, very maneuverable german vacuum. the versions without the digital power display, i.e., with the analog nob, probably are just as good, though i never saw one in real life to try one. the only danger is the little step-on lever to release the upright: it can cut your foot quite good as it has a sharp plastic edge on it, and it's a bit oversized.no regrets on this purchase,e ven though pricey, because it just works very well and will last many many years. probably would get the analog dial though if i were giving a gift of such.

Nilfisk Advance Backpack Vacuum (Backuum) (01796934) (HEPA)

This is a great product. I have used it commercially and at home. Easy to wear and use, making you very mobile. Since it is lightweight, smaller people can use with ease. I highly recommend. You can use any length of cord you wish, as long as it is the correct grade.

Panasonic MC-V5210 Commercial Upright Vacuum Cleaner with Tools On-Board, Black

I purchased this vacuum thinking I was replacing my old Panasonic model with the same newer model.....wrong.....this is the "commercial" model, and it is now a discontinued model......there were several differences.....when using the on-board tools, my old model allowed me to switch off the agitator with a foot pedal.....this commercial model does not have that good feature and clearly states in the manual...."CAUTION: If tools are used, and vacuum cleaner is left in upright position, carpet damage could occur. (From the agitator!) Agitator rotates when using tools, use care to ensure that nothing comes into contact with agitator. (No duh!)"......That is a SERIOUS design flaw, especially since it is a "commercial" model....I need to clean my blinds with the hand-held brush, and if the agitator cannot be shut off while allowing for a good suction feature for the tools, that's NO GOOD!....plus the suction over-all is worse than my older model (too bad my older model is discontinued, too)....plus, there is no bottom "cord hook" on the handle to wind the cord around, only a top hook...HOW cheap and inconvenient!....plus, the cord is an ugly "caution yellow" color, probably since it is a "commercial" model to make it look "industrial" (Not shown in photo!).....plus, when I tried to contact Panasonic's customer service, I had to make EIGHT calls, and got absolutely NO help from Panasonic!.....that was the straw that…

LG Kompressor Canister PetCare Plus Vacuum Cleaner

Being speechless is definitely not one of my traits, and anyone who knows me can certainly attest to that. I just (10 minutes ago) opened the package that arrived last night and couldn't resist to test this product since all the reviews were stellar. About 7 minutes of vacuuming (my already freshly vacuumed - with Dyson Animal - carpets) and I was astounded by the amount of dirt (the cansiter was practically full) that gathered in the canister. After being thoroughly disgusted by the fact that my pride and joy home which is always spotless (I vacuum and dust everyday) was infact NOT THAT spotless, I sat down to write this review which is the first review I have ever written in my life. This product absolutely warrants a glowing 5 star review, as it is 100% what it is advertised to be. It is easy to put together, is easy to navigate, goes under my very low furniture and is endowed with an impressive suction power, so much so that it almost propells itself on the carpet. It even picked up the particles that tend to fall between the deep grout lines of my ceramic tiles effortlessly with just going over it once! It has a lot of options in terms of adjusting the height (not just high, medium & low), and it is very easy to do so with the touch of your feet. The suction can be adjusted as minimum and maximum as well as floor/carpet all of which should work greatly if you have a combination of new and antique/delicate rugs and hard surfaces, which I do. Because the dirt which gatheres…
